    Court president, PhD Muhamed Tulumović participated in an international training for mentors in the field of gender equality

    Between September 22. to 24., 2025, the president of the Muncipal court in Tuzla, Muhamed Tulumović, PhD participated as the representative od Bosnia and Herzegovina in the international training for mentors within the  Mentoring Program for legal professionals „Woman's Access to justice in the Western Bakans“ held in Budapest, Hungary.

    The training focused on the exchange of experiences of mentors in the area of gender equality, identifying key challenges and barriers, as well as the practical application of European standardss in the protection of womens rights. The program was organized as part of the joint initiative of the European Unionand the Council od Europe – Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkiye – Phase III, in cooperation with judical training centers in the region.

    Participants of the training included judges and prosecutors from Bosnia and Heregovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Albania. Participation in this program confirms the active role of judical institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in regional initiatives and contributies, with the goal of ensuring effective and equal protection of woman's right in accordance with European standards.
